I love cookies
I do not think I have ever eaten a cookie that I did not like. Well, let me think…
Okay I am not too fond of fig Newtons. I can eat those when forced.
Are there any gross cookies in the world? Probably. I have not eaten them though.
yeah, I am sure there are some bad cookies out there.I know there is bad cake. I went to a cambodian birthday party about two years ago.
That was a bad cake. It had NO sugar and it was inedible… The icing tasted like wax.
Maybe it was a fake cake.I am doing okay. living. breathing.
I hope you are too.I have bell choir in an hour and a half.
I am going to quit the choir, yep, really, in May, after our concert.
I am just tired of it.
Today we played in church.
I do not really like our church much either but I won’t go into that now. Here, it is getting ready to rain. It is super drab out there.
I have had much much thought about all sorts of things since I last blogged but I just never got them here.
Some of it was profound.
I do not remember any of it.We (hubby and I) ordered a whole pile of dutch foods from this place in Marquette Michigan. They have a huge assortment of goodies.
The box arrived on Valentine’s day and we dug right in. Well, I did.
Hubby has lots and lots of self control.
I do not.I should go for a walk this afternoon, but I am lazy. Tomorrow, I will go for a long walk because I probably will not skate … the holiday= madness at the rink.
Okay I am boring myself here so I will go.
Oh, yesterday we went to my parents in Annapolis. They are looking fine. My mom looks thin and tired.
She was perky. She hates pills and she is taking lots of them now.
We ate dinner at a Grrreeek restaurant called um, Chris’s. We ate a lot and as usual I had a lot of cheap wine.
Chrystabelle came by twice to check on and love Princess while we were gone.
We have not been leaving her alone for long periods of time.

Okay, I am done.
I will try to update this later this week.Loss is nothing else but change,
and change is Nature’s delight.

That’s a great picture of Princess.
I love your quote today.
Aw, yook at the snuggly kitty. I can *feel* how warm she is under the covers!
I don’t think you like cookies as much as you like crunchy sugar, lol! I don’t like fortune cookies so much (nor fig newtons… hubby loves them, but I’d rather have the apple or strawberry ones if I have newtons.) Maybe hubby just does not love cookies like you (or is not as nostalgic about them.) I bet he dug in at the Greek place, heh.
My mom does not like taking lots of pills either, but she has to. How old is your mom? Mine is only now 70 and has had to take pills for almost 10 years now. I am thankful now that I only have to take ibuprophen or other headache pills and that is all (since I kicked the coumadin.) It’s probably good that you quit the bells… why do it if you don’t like it? Could be time for a change there. I am ready for the change of spring, aren’t you???
If there were a Xanga Cookie Monster Award….I’d nominate YOU.
Then I’m sure you’d WIN.
I’ve always thought it was cool that you are in a bell choir…but if it’s not fun any more, then you should be finished with it, right? I’m sorry you don’t like your church much any more.
I am sure everything will work out right.
Princess looks very snuggly and content. That’s great Crystabelle could check in on her while you were visiting your parents. I’m glad they’re doing well. I bet your Mom doesn’t like swallowing the pills. My Mom doesn’t like that either. Come to think of it…neither do I! Lucky for me I just have to swallow vitamins.
I hope you have a good Sunday.
Hugs, Razzy.
they are so sweet when they’re sleeping
Kitty looks pretty content.
Would a fig newton be counted as a cookie? or is it a…..newton? LOL!
Fig Newtons are really cakes…no! They are biscuits and British. That is why they are BAD. How is that. We thought of a reason for BAD cookies. I bought cookies that were delivered by my fav. girl scouts….Isabella. She helped me eat most of them. Her Daddy bought her a box of her own. She didn’t want to share with me…naughty girl scout.
Glad Princess is doing well. Wish I had been there when the Dutch treats arrived.
Awwww I love Princess. She looks so soft and cuddly.
My friend and I are trying to plan a trip up there, a handbells/harp concert tour of sorts. Your mention of Annapolis made me think of it. My friend teaches orchestra at a middle school in Towson and wants to get a grant to pay for us to come do a school show. I hope it works out!
Crappy cookies, try sugar free! Some dear soul brings them to refreshment time at church for the diabetics. Most of them I end up one bite and crumbling the rest for the birds. I make sure the person who brought them isn’t standing around though.
One day you’re gonna wake up and it will be like Kafka’s Metamorphisis…only instead of being a big moth, you’re gonna be a big cookie!!!!! hehehee..
Cookies are awesome…I respect them but they do NOT respect my waistline! ((((((((((HUGS)))))))))) I love your cat……
Not your usual type of post. Quitting bells?
You see Rosemary all of your friends are there on xanga to support you at this moment of incertainty . We are not always at the top and in any way , without downs there would not be ups ? Right ? Next time it will be up .

Love
Michel
Hello dearie o dear. I don’t like gingerbread cookies. I don’t like how they smell or taste. That’s my vote for yucky cookies.
Just go ahead and quit the bells if you are tired of it. There’s probably someone there that would really like to try it. Is that annoying kid still doing bells? You haven’t mentioned him in a while…
XXOO
Princess looks like she is smiling in her sleep. She must be having a pleasant dream.
I love all kinds of cookies and sweets. I certainly don’t need them, but I do have a sweet tooth!
I enjoyed playing bells for a number of years, but I grew tired of them, too. I still like to hear the bell choir in church, though.
I’m very fussy about cookies. Never but never sugarfree!!! The sugarfree stuff has some sort of alcohol substitute that raises havoc with the digestive system. I found that out the hard way.
Sweet little Princess! Our kitties want to be near us now all the time since JouJou said good bye.
I hardly have any business in my cafe, but have three people baking me cookies, so I *have* to eat them. They are delicious but I am getting fatter than fat.
Ok, I am pretty ignorant about food in general. What is Dutch food?
Princess looks good — very much like my kitty Royal.
I’m sorry about Caesar, I just now read about him. It sounds like he went the way I’d like to go — just fall asleep and wake up in heaven.
I’ve always wanted to play in a bell choir. How about if I take over for you!
My vote for favorite cookie is ginger snap. I love my homemade ones!
Hang in there,
Leah
Princess looks so adorable!
For some reason I’m very hungry now….
Are you going to watch the Total Lunar Eclipse tonight?
I just read back in your posts. I am so very sorry about the loss of your cat. I sat here crying while reading as the experience isn’t a new one for me and reading it brings all of back, the loss of pets I loved. I truly am sorry for your hurt and pain.
I did read other entries but can’t remember most of it after reading per the above. I hate to hear about your friend with the ovarian cancer. I hope her treatment goes well. I was very lucky in that department as far as I know.
I don’t like all cookies or cakes. Sweet has to be perfect for me, exactly what I like or prefer. I carried cookeis to my sis this last week we bought and I didn’t like and they were bakery type. I am actually a salt person with a sweet tooth on the side.
Take care of you and I have no idea why I miss so many of your entries. I have always loved the pics you post of your kitties and look forward to more of your little princess. Again very sorry for your loss but am truly glad God chose to take your little guy in such a kind and loving fashion. God bless us all especially the little creatures he made for loving.
Just came back to check on things with you.
I know exactly what you mean about leaving Princess alone. The pets who had to say “good bye” also are grieving and I notice that my kitties do not want us out of their site. I worry about going away and leaving them. We won’t for awhile.
HUGS.
Hadn’t heard from you in a while–just popped in to check on ya
Just keep blogging when you can. That’s all I can do right now. And comment when you can too. How are your daughters doing?
