  • Greetings happy people.
I am sorry I have not been blogging.
I have been busy, lazy and etcetera.

Now it is the week-end coming up. Another week-end. Another Sunday.
This Sunday will be *sniff* 6 weeks since my Caesar left me in such sad state.
I am going to keep his picture in my profile pic forever.
    I miss him.

    Princess is doing quite well.

The house is much tidier with only Princess.
I did not realize that Caesar was that messy in the litterbox and with his food…
I knew he was resposible for most big messes but…
I really had no idea that Princess was actually so neat with everything.

    one of Caesar’s little surprises….

He was my funny old man and I will miss him forever.
some day, I hope to have another rex kitty. They are amazing cats, very very loveable.
This is a pic from when they were 9 weeks old … in 1991!

I have only been skaitng one day a week! Yes, I know shocking.
Well, I have just been finding other things to do.

Hubby and I walk almost every day. He works at home now, so rarely he has to go in for a meeting.

I have to go into my other photo folder to find the pictures of the dutch foods.
    I will do that soon…

It is getting grey and drabbie here… we are expecting a very little bit of rain but it is only 32 degrees
so I think we will go for a walk soon.
Then… I will hunt for those pictures of my goodies… of which there are a few still unopened.

    Where you used to be,
there is a hole in the world,

which I find myself constantly walking around in the daytime,
    and falling in at night.
    I miss you

  • Oh!  I don’t think I’ve ever seen that 9 week old picture!  How cute!  What a beautiful quote.  I know that’s how you must feel at your loss.  It was a great loss, too, and my heart aches for you.    Oh…I love that profile pic.  It’s so adorable.  I’m glad Princess is doing well…but it is so hard to imagine how strange it must be for her to have her loving friend gone.  That last of them in the basket together is so wonderful and it makes me ache not only for you but for Princess, too.

P.S.  Spring will be here soon!  Yay!  Or has it arrived already for you?

  • Love you, missy. Hope you are holding up ok.  The kittens are just too fricking cute. In the last one they form a perfect yin yang.

  • awwwwwwwwww that 9 week old pic is so so so cute!! all the pics are gorgeous =)
I’m glad I’ll get to see Caesar’s adorable face whenever I visit your Xanga. That pic shows how much personality he had!

  • Cute little kiddies. Has it been six weeks? It seems like only yesterday you posted about Caesar. So he was a messy boy. Aren’t they all? heehee…little momentos for you on the floor!

  • Awwww…such little cuties. It does not seem like it was six weeks ago. How time flies.

Hope your weekend is good to you.

  • I thought that I would always have my Sheba’s picture and that I would never forget her and now it’s been about 10yrs and we talk about her sometimes but it’s better.  She was a good dog and we talk about her still but not as often.

  • The two kitties in the basket look like yin and yang, very beautiful.  Have a good weekend.

  • I was gonna say what Petra said about the kitties looking like a yin and yang.  I love the baby kitty pic… so sweet.  I do not love the poo pic, silly old boy.  I know you miss him (it’d be worse if you didn’t… really!)

  • I can so relate to that last quote.  You were so lucky to have Caesar as a part of your life.  It hurts so much to say “good bye”  Princess has such sad eyes now.  I know she misses her buddy.

We have a messy cat too.  Her name is Jolie and she is MY cat.  John’s cat, Sasha, is much neater.  They both miss their little white furry friend and sleep on her pillow.

I wouldn’t change your profile picture.   That is a sweet picture of your sweet friend.

    HUGS

  • Cats are great.  I miss having one around here but my dog made life miserable for them.

  • sometimes when I don’t know what to say I just leave my heart.

  • I understand you Rosemary . We love our pets and this is an important loss for you . Perhaps you need to have a new cat ( without forget Caesar of course )
I thank you for the friendly and comforting comment you left after the loss of our beloved Daughter in law Marina .
Take care of you , my friend.

    Love
    Michel

  • big hugs for you, rosemary.  I know how must you miss your baby.

thanks for sharing the baby pics.  too cute.

  • Oh, we remember the good and bad with our pets.  I hope to have temporary custody of the granddogs soon.  They are good girls, and will go back to be with their ‘rents in May, but I look forward to having them here, with me.

Glad your are skating and walking.  I got to get started on walking too.

  • I miss the old boy, too. And my heart is hurting a little bit for you this morning, I can feel your sadness.

It’s a drabbie day here today. Fits my mood.

  • What breed of cats are those?  Their heads look different.  Longer or something.  Very good looking cats.

  • Those are some precious memories.  Kitten and puppy photos are sooo cute!  I’m glad that Princess is doing well.

  • Glad to see you back-hope your doing well I know how you miss your baby-but the other one looks well loved and cared for !!!
