  • well, I do not have much to blog about these days.
I am just a super dull person now.
Also, sometimes I do stuff… and then I forget I did it, so I can’t blog about it.

I just made oatmeal cookies. Hubby and I ate a whole lot of them.
I put some in a container so we will stop eating them.

I already moved up most of the clocks in this house. It is 6:30 instead of 5:30 haha

Life is still strange and terrible without my sweet boy kitty Caesar around.
I think I am going to miss him forever.

As soon as forever is through,
    I’ll be over you.

Prinnie is doing okay. She is really funny. Loves to eat. she would eat until she could pop if I let her… but I am a meanie and give her small portions and oh so stingy snacks. She prefers to stay up stairs in her paradise room. We have a very open house so it is warmer upstairs but we can see her.
She stands at the top of the stairs and meows really loud.
That means she wants something, either crunchies or fresh water. She does not like old water.
I have to change it twice a day at least other wise she meows really loud.
    Caesar never did this.
He was very vocal but not demanding.

Blizzie comes home next week for Spring Break.
I am completely looking forward to that.

Other stuff is going on that I will not share. Nothing terrible… just family stuff.
We are a close family and so… we take care of each other.

OH Andrei turned TEN on the 4th.

My sister sent me a few pictures. This one if my favorite
edit: oh oops I forgot to mention, Andrei is the guy on the far left with the glasses
forgot to tell you… he is soooo cute.

    What else.
Man it poured rain here all day yesterday.
This morning Christabelle and I went to target for a very small pile of things, then we got home and it started clearing up.
The sun came out… loads of blue sky, no big clouds, 44 degrees
I was thinking about going for a walk but by the time I REALLY started thinking about going out for a walk… it started pouring again.
So, then that was that… well, 10 minutes later the sun came out again and this time it looked very good.
I went for a walk. Hubby came along too… we went up the street on to the woods path, walked all the way through then came out way at the other end and then walked up the street… we were going to go straight on but I saw a black cloud through the trees, from the west and pointed it out. Hubby said “lets cut this short”. I did not want to. I said, “we are not made of paper, we are water proof”…. well, he got his way and we cut through the other woods and ended up at the bottom of our street and walked up the hill and by the time we got to our front door… the second we got up the steps, it started HAILING like nuts… I mean heavily.

Okay so I guess it is good we did not go the long way.
    Now it is really windy.

Oh gosh what do you think of all of this hoopla about Obamessiah?
Can you imagine this guy as president?
All I can say is if you have any money, hide it now.

I think I will end here… and start dinner.
I hope all of you are happy and healthy.

  • Of course she stands at the top of the stairs, she is royalty and princesses need to be pampered. She needs one of those kitty water fountains to keep her water aerated and fresh.

I’m so glad you got home before the hail, I’ve  heard of people being really injured.

  • See, you DO have things to blog about. Love the boy scout picture. I do not discuss politics so I won’t say why I think this week has been so hilarious.

Tornados, hail, snow. Yep, it’s March in the South.

  • Ah Rosepetal, I’m sure sorry you are having such difficult times right now.  It happens to all of us at one point or another.  You just keep putting one day behind you, and saying your prayers, it’ll work out the way it’s supposed to.

    XXOO always!

  • Andrei is adorable.  What a cutie.

    I want an oatmeal cookie!

  • He’s an adorable boy scout. I remember those derby car races.

I’m sorry you miss your kitty so much. We lost our dog Friday. I cried. Terry has cried several times. He was very attached to her.

    Hugs!

  • Thinking of you.

  • I see the nephew is a webalow by the checkered kerchief.  He must have done well at the little car derby races.

I guess that is why I have 5 dogs cause I hate to lose one.

    It takes time

  • While I’m hoping McCain gets in I would much rather see Obama than Clinton in the White House.

See? You do have lots of stuff to blog about. It was a yucky day yesterday, wasn’t it? At least it wasn’t snow though. I actually went to our mall yesterday to walk. Full of teenagers and kids and I was glad to get out of there. lol

  • Have you seen what John Stewart, the comedian news guy, says about the race for the White House?  It’s not very nice, but really, really funny.  Haha, you might be waterproof, but are you dentproof?  We had dark clouds like that, but the wind blew them through so fast, they didn’t hardly even have time to rain… it was a craZy weather day, yesterday!  I should make some homemade oatmeal cookies, as they are hubby’s fave.  About Prinnie being demanding: I think that’s just part of being a girl (some are moreso than others.) Andrei is adorable… looks like he entered the Soap Box Derby?  Hope you have had a good day!

  • You are definitely NOT a dull person.  I like you just the way you are.

That “As soon as forever is over, I’ll be over you.”  That is the truest statement.  We never ever get over saying good bye to a sweet wonderful friend that was so much a part of our life…Nor would we ever want to.  We hold them and cherish them always in our hearts and memories.  And we know that are lives were made richer and more wonderful because they were a part of it.

The only way we could protect ourselves from the heartbreak of loss is never to love enough to care.

    Love,

  • You see Rosemary , there are at least 10 topics in your post to make 10 entries ? The story of your walk with your husband  deserves an entry with pictures . You can thank your loved one to have avoided the hail !!!! Give him a kiss !!
     Princess is a spoiled girl !!  I say .

Dear Rosemary , go ahead  !

    Love

    Michel

  • It has been a tough winter for you.  No wonder you feel “blah”!   But, Blizzie will be there soon, and I know she will cheer you up.

Winter is always so hard and depressing for me—-even with nothing bad happening.  Am glad it is finally winding down.  Although around here you would never know it.  Still lots of snow, and temps only getting to mid-30′s this week—-a heat wave for us!

As much as I hate to exercise, I am even looking forward to taking short walks.  But too many people still have icy walks to do it now.  At least we are getting more sunny days, which helps my disposition—–a litttle!

Don’t you just HATE it when husbands are right??  lol

  • I think your blog was fun and entertaining and full of info….Maybe if you blogged more, you would be able to focus of more good stuff…..like cookies, and chocolate, and more chocolate.  Plus a little chocolate on the side.

  • Andrei is so cute.
Did you put a padlock on those cookies?

  • you are anything but dull, rosie.

you’ve got one cute nephew there.

    <3

  • Dear Rosemary, thank you so much for stopping by…It is so great to see you again.  I’m so sorry, though, about the passing of your precious kitty. ((((Hugs)))  I know how much it can hurt.

Thank you for sharing all the beautiful pictures and everything else you have here with us.  You certainly aren’t a dull person at all.  Love You!

  • Thank you for your birthday wishes , Rosemary .You know why ,? I started to worry about you and I was going just to put again a comment here to ask . I hope you are really well and you have high spirit .
    Much love
    Michel
