I hope all of you are doing dandyfine.
We are having chilly weather here. I am liking it. Not so many hot flashes.
freezing temps at night already, kind of early, but I am okay with that.
I guess I will be cleaning up gardens this week-end…
    Skating tomorrow
    Not a very busy week.

Hubby and I are discussing what we might do in an Obama presidency.
    hmmmmm

    He will retire.
    I will get a job
    sounds like a plan.

    It is easy
    to take liberty for granted,

when you have never had it
    taken from you.

  • Oh my goodness, I think Prinnie always looks adorable, but baby Prinnie?  Oooohhh!  Irresistible!

    Pierro better be carefulllll.

  • I did enjoy his editorials.

    WOW.  Pierro is scaring me!

  • Our two babies are daredevils, too.  It’s like having two-year olds in the house all over again.  This afternoon the busted open a bag of Opus’ food and spread it all over the kitchen.  yesterday they tore open a 10 pound bag of sugar in the pantry.  Opus’ food I can understand.  But sugar?

Love the photos, though.  Read the editorials, too.   At this point I am just ready for the election to be over.  David says by the end of the campaign bloodbath, it’s a wonder we don’t tar and feather both of them on Nov. 5!

  • The cat loves the risks like the presidential candidats !
I fear that those candidats are caught by the hard reality after the elections .
I like the quote . So true for us , Frenchmen .

    Love to you Rosemary

  • Thomas Sowell is one of my absolute favorites.  If more people would bother to read him, I don’t think we would have as much to worry about in this election.

I subscribe to Townhall and that newsletter has a lot of amazing and brilliant thinkers.

Great quote, unfortunately when “you know who” gets in, he , with the help of Nancy and Harry will enact the fairness doctrine which will effectively take away our freedom of choice when it comes to the media..He hates Fox News and has mentioned it on several occasions…can’t stand hearing the truth about himself and that channel  will be the first to go.  Our country will be like Nazi Germany or the Soviet Union.  Look what the thugs surrounding him are doing to “Joe the Plumber” who is a hero in my book.

Piero is a wonderful athlete!  Both of my cats are getting so they can’t jump as easily as they did a few years ago…kinda like their master(I mean servants)

You take care now.  Enjoy those creatures.  Cats are so great at giving comfort and laughter when we are stressed.

    Love,

    Fran

  • Many citizens do educate themselves about the people running for office, but the poor and uneducated don’t as a whole. It always comes back to education, doesn’t it?

Little Prinny in the sink..aww…look how little and sweet! Pierro looks like a fine acrocat!!!

  • hubby and i just voted early this am

  • I knew I recognized the name Thomas Sowell — he wrote a book (unrelated to politics) that I read when my youngest son was having trouble with his speech development called “The Einstein Syndrome:  Bright Children Who Talk Late”.  Interesting man — and yes, quite brilliant!

  • Oh that cat!  That’s very high up.  He is a brave one.

I am afraid how this election will turn out.   Very afraid.
