  • I have been busy, and doing a lot to get ready for this trip to Tennessee.
It is only 5 days but I am taking my parents, so it will be a slow roadtrip.
I am looking forward to it. Christabelle is coming along too so it will be the 4 of us. Hopefully I will write something about this next week before I blast off.
Hubby will stay home with the kitties.
He has work to do here, his job, duh. Oh btw, last week he had to go into the Pentagon to renew/update his Top Security Clearance.
You don’t pass it, you do not get top security clearance, it is simple as that.
    Hubby passed.
Hmmmmm I am thinking of someone right now, I am wondering if he could pass the Top Security Clearance…..

    I skated twice this week.
I reeeeeally need to get my blades sharpened.

Did you watch the BHO Show last night?
So, I wonder if anyone is going to do a thorough investigation on all of those people that Obama had on his show.
you know… like Joe the Plumber has his closets cleaned out.

I found this on a Hillary PUMA website:
    Hillbuzz.wordpress.com

    Blizzie working hard.
Photo taken on photobooth on her MacBook @ college

I think I will go for a long long walk now.
    be well and happy
ps: my mom gave me a photo of me when I was 17
working as a “candy striper” volunteer at the local hospital
I will try to scan it and put it up here.

A closed mind is like a locked door,
unless the right key is found nothing enters.
Unfortunately for many the key will be hindsight.

  • Beautiful CollegeBlizz…

  • she’s like…model pretty, y’know.  those eyes.  perfect shaped nose and all.
    that’s a great shot!

  • What a lovely daughter you have!   Hope your trip is blissful and no, did not watch the Obama show.  Went to church for a prayer meeting to pray for the elections instead.   May God have mercy on our country.

  • Bad Men…..bwah ha ha ha….yes….I wonder if Bad Men can get security clearances.

Trip to Tennesse sounds fun.  I lived in White Bluff, Tennessee for about six months.  My parents lived there even longer.  I like it there.  Have a safe and fun trip.

Your girlie is a cutie.  So very very cutie.

  • What a beautiful picture of The Blizz.    She certainly has changed since I first met you here on Xanga—-she is all growed up!!!

Nope, not interested in watching the Obama show.  Nothing else good on, so ended up playing on the computer with one of the shopping networks going on the TV!  No—I didn’t buy anything.  I’ve bought enough clothes this fall, and don’t need anything else, either.

Yeah, trips with the ‘rents are always slower—-heck, they are slower for Ken and I now, too!  lol   Where in Tenn. are you going?  Wish I could tag along and see Mindy and Hannah in Nashville.  Didn’t see them that often when they lived here in WI, but I knew they were only a 4-hr. drive away if I really wanted to see them!  Have a safe trip, and don’t forget to take pictures, so we can enjoy the trip right along with you.

Have been reading your blog through my e-mail subscription, and it is so good to see you back here again!  I missed you.  I was just starting to wonder if you had decided to not blog anymore, and a couple days later, there you were!  YAY!

  • Your daughter is gorgeous!  She looks like an actress, absolutely stunning!

  • Oh she looks like she’s working so hard!  Poor dear!  I hope your trip goes well, and I’m sure it will because I know you’re planning everything just right!  I’m sure you will have a memorable time!  Glad hubby passed that test….wouldn’t it be awful if he didn’t ?  Wow!  Keeping on top of their employees aren’t they?

I’m looking forward to seeing you as a young candy striper! Jeri

  • Goodness, she has certainly grown up!  Such a pretty girl!  My daughter just sent me some pics she took with her new Mac, but she played with them, all artsy and such.

What are you going to see in Tennessee?  A whole 5 days sounds like fun.  A three-generations trip!  : )

I always thought it would be neat to be a candy striper.  Must see the photo!

  • Oh my…you have a beautiful daughter!  I know she takes after her mom.

You have a safe trip to Tennessee.  That is a beautiful place.  Just where in TN are you going.?  I especially love the mountains of TN.

I heard an FBI man on Fox news saying that Obama would definitely not pass a security clearance.  Oh… theres just so much that is dangerous about this guy.  You would think people would wake up.  Our own local Barbara West(journalist..A REAL one, who usually reports on health issues) gave a tough interview to Biden and he was arrogantly sarcastic and nasty.  All she did was ask questions.  Obama and his thugs do not like people to question his diety…anyway, the thugs have blackballed the station .  She is an outstanding journalist and has been with that Orlando station for the length of time that we have lived here.  She is very respected.  Had worked with Peter Jennings covering the Iranian hostage crisis.  She also gave a really tough interview to McCain.  He wasn’t all that comfy with the questions either but, he answered them forthright and the McCain campaign did not sulk and whine and blackball anyone who disagrees with them …or ask questions.  How in the name of all that’s holy can anyone vote for someone who tries to silence and destroy anyone who dares disagree with them.  That is SCARY.  If that dicator thug gets to be president, let’s not tell them where we live….Oh yes, they did try to dig into her private life like they did with Joe the Plumber.

Sorry…got off on a tangent again.  Have to calm down.

    HUGS

  • I bet the photo of you as a candy striper will look just like Blizz.

I was a candy striper, too.  I quit when an old lady I had grown close to died.  I was only 15, for goodness sakes.

You will have a great vacation, I just know it.  Your folks will love it!

  • Tennessee? Whatcha doing in Tn? East? Middle? West?
