  • It is hot here. 65
I have shorts on and a shirt with no sleeves!
I am feeling peppy and I am not going out for retail therapy today.
Yesterday I got my blades sharpened and the sharpener guy (my old buddy Tim) said my blades were very very dull.
He sharpened them for $14 not bad. I just have to remember when I skate on Monday… I might forget that I had them sharpened
Well, one thing I will notice, maneuverability on the ice will be slow, and I better watch my edges.
    crummy photo but ohwell

right now I am doing some slave duties.
I think I will clean out the garage after lunch.
Pierro has been going nutty with the ladybugs in the house…. and he ate one! that made him barf.
    I better go now
    Maybe some pics later
    have a fun week-end.
ps: send an email to your congressman, and senator.
    say NO to the bailouts!
Rewarding the Big Three for misusing their own funds will not help anything.

All of those business execs that made a couple of billion$$ should be bailing out their companies
and former S&L companies like BHO’s  good pal Franklin Raines
… …the problem is that Obama is beholden to the unions which helped him in office.

So, I need a new roof on my house.
Maybe I can take out a loan and then request a bailout to pay it.
    riiiight

I own that I am not a friend to a very energetic government.
    It is always oppressive.

  • It was that warm here yesterday, and I was happy to go down to my summer closet and dig out a Tshirt and some capris, but today is a very different story – and we might have an inch of snow by this time tomorrow!  So, enjoy it while you can.  : )

  • hhahahahaa…when I first looked at the skate I thought..”Oh NO!! ParsleyRose went down the drain!!” hahahaa…

Hey, Frank and I were just discussing the same thing this morning…and also about the car companies….if they won’t produce a quality product that lasts, if they refused to produce smaller cars and kept making those big monsters and didn’t get on the “go green” bandwagon and their sales bottomed out, then they can take a hike.

  • I’m glad to see you and Bonnie agree with me about the government bailing out the car companies. I think seeing them shut down could be a good thing…in the long run.

Heh…I was beginning to think you were very limber to get your foot up there like that in the picture when it dawned on me your foot wasn’t in the skate! LOL

Isn’t the weather here crazy? First it’s raining, then it’s sunny, then it’s raining. And when I went outside this morning with a jacket? Wow! Is it spring already?

  • Whoa….those blades look sharp!    Oh..I remember the ladybugs in Ohio.  We don’t get them here…at least I haven’t seen any.

I don’t get the bailouts any more than I get gas prices.  It’s crazyiness.

  • You are going  to cut the ice with those sharpened blades . Take care of you !
Really we live in a weird time : the industries and the banks fall down .  It ‘ s always sad to see a factory that closes or goes elsewhere . What the workers become ? It is the time of the incertainty and I hope a better future .
Have a good Sunday and a great skate , tomorrow , Rosemary .

    Love

    Michel

  • I am still soooooooooo bummed that he won. Sigh. Skate your little heart out, honey! It will do a body good!

  • those look sharp.
