    NEW YEARS
    EVE!!!
Hey xanga peeps, I hope all of you have a delightful last day of December.
We have had Andrei here with us and we have been busy. Also, my washer finally died (r.i.p washerkins)
I am having a noo washer delivered today.

Boy, we have done a lot over the past few days with Andrei in tow. He has been a fun visitor.
We are taking him home this afternoon. Gah, he has homework and we worked a little on that.
He is adhd (like me) so he drives me a bit batty
Here it is windy and getting cold. er.

What are your plans for the evening? Going out?
    Going to bed early?
I just read that Bill and Hillary are dropping the ball at midnight in Noo York.
Isn’t that great? I love how everything here in the US is a democrat political/Hollywood event.
    Thank you hollywood.
I wish all of you the best and nicest New Year’s Eve and a terrifical new year
    keep praying
    hide your money
    you are loved by me

Many people look forward to the new year
for a new start on old habits.

ice skate more, what else? lol kidding you . You will have to come to my site to see our big plans

  • That’s so true – a new start to old habits.  We’re planning to rent “Enchanted” and watch it together.  Low key.  Family.

  • Quiet evening for us.  We never liked partying on New Year’s Eve.  Too many people drinking waaay too much and acting stupid!!  I think the only NYE we stayed up for was in 2000.  Wanted to see if the world turned dark!  lol  Actually, our grands were here and we had fun playing games and watching all the celebrations on TV.  Went outside at midnight and yelled Happy New Year.  Whoopee!!

It must be the season of dying washers!  Ours went over a week ago, but we have to wait until next Tues. for the new one to be delivered—along with a new dryer.  Both were so ancient we decided to get both at the same time.

Andrei sounds like our youngest local grand, Linden.  He is such a ball of energy.  He has a hard time doing things quietly or slowly!!  He has always been that way.  Wears both Ken and I out!!

Have a great New Year, Razzle-Dazzle!  I gotta get busy and lose more weight and exercise more.  Very traditional resolutions, right??  Hugs!

  • Really?  Bill and Hillary?  Pffffft.

Happy New Year!  We’re staying home.

  • Going to a party, complete with mucho much food and board games and party poppers and hats.   Hope I can stay awake till 2009!   Enjoy that new washerooo and happy happy happy 2009 to you!

  • I actually stayed up and watched the New Year come in  Very wild for me!…and even watched Bill and Hillary with the ball.  Then they kissed…Awwww. So romantic.

BLESSINGS, JOYS , PROSPERITY AND  HEALTH.

    LOVE,

    moi

  • “Hide your money” ! Unfortunatly the money escapes very easily . I enjoy to repair the central heating , to find the sick underground pipes and so to break our tiles in the living , the kitchen and the entrance . Big bill in sight  and  much dust . Exactly momey is going to become dust  flying in the air !!!! Not conditionned !!
This being said we had the usual gathering at Christmas day( 23 people ) and at New year Day we ate at Janine ‘ s sister’s .
Sorry to have abandonned facebook but itis too much and I prefer Xanga .
I wish to you Rosemary and family
    Love

  • A belated Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year to you and family.  It sounds like you had a full / fun house over the holidays.  We kept busy and now, starting today I guess things will settle down.  The adoptive cat managed to survive at the kennel but was yowling terrible at first when we got home.  We offered food before letting it out of the carrier so it wouldn’t run off in a panic.  It ate the food, came in the house and kept yowling.  I decided it was still hungry and was right.  Not sure how much it got to eat at the kennel but acted like it was starving and ate about 4 times normal over the period of a few hours.  It finally settled down last night, thank God as it was really loud.  Thinking we will pass on this kennel the next time and hoping we can teach the cat to travel with us.  We plan on working it in small short stages of travel.  We shall see and may come out the worse for wear on this one.

    Happy Happy to you,  Becca
