quickie entry here. I have lots to do yet and then I have to jump in bed and sleep a lot. I am skating tomorrow.
I do not have a busy week, except for skating shopping and cleaning and sewing. I will probably go out to my parents on Thursday and hang around there for a while. They are very funny.
I re-upholstered my parents chairs, 4 of them, and last month I went out there and put them together with my staple gun and stuff. They keep their house so warm, man I was sweating.
Anyway, one thing we joke about is if we have a crisis everyone in the family will move to our house (this is just one of our silly ideas we always imagine) since our house is so huge. Hubby already joked that if that were to come about, he would sound proof his office here on the main level (where he works every day) and hide in there. haha
Dad and I would go out and barter for things by offering our expert services of recovering chairs, and other “handy things” (my dad and I are not handy but we try. He and I worked together to do their chairs and it was nothing short of a “mutt and jeff” operation.Anyway, I said I was going to be quick here, so I thought I would share with you some kitty pics.
Pierro loves climbing in bed with Prin. She is not crazy about this but if he is still and not wiggly she will let him stay in the cuppiebed with her.
Pierro is a goofy adorable lovetigerpuff.
Princess: almost 18 years old
What kind of weather do you have?
Here it is cold and very windy. Hubby and I went for our daily walk. It was not as bad as a few other times we went out it felt like Siberia. We had snow this morning, then sun and wind.hey, here is another cool thing. I have not been to the oncologist/hematologist in over a year… maybe a year and a half. So anyway, I had some routine bloodwork done at my regular medical doc. My tests came out perfect. The globulin and globulin/albumin levels were normal !?!? yeah really. Still, I found a new doc and I might just go out to her for a consultation.
Anyway, I have to take calcium. My calcium is low! rats. I have to take 500mg 3xaday. Those tablets (Os-Cal +D) taste nasty but the Viactive chocolates taste kind of okay, sort of. not really yummy. I am not good about taking “pills” so I am trying really hard to take these dopey calcium supplements every day so I do not crumble in to a heap of bone dust hahaSo yeah. do you have a busy week?
What did you have for dinner huh?
We had soupI am gonna try to blog more. Really
okay bye now.
Word for the next 4 years…

Calcium tablets always make me nausious. So I can’t take them. I hope they work for you. I take a multi-vitamin and hope for the best.
btw, fabulous news on the blood test. I think you’d be happy they found low calcium and no cancer!
Great job on the chairs.
I take those Viactive chocolates…I think they taste kind of okay, too.
Yay for good levels at the dr.
Cold and windy…sounds familiar…but you are braver than I am, to walk in it. I try to minimize my time in it – of, we have snow and some ice here, too.
Looks like a good fabric match on the chairs!
Your kitties are so precious. I always enjoy pictures.
Wonderful news about the blood test – were they surprised?
we have said the same but we are all moving to our sons house since they have a 4 bedroom and no kids yet and live on a golf course. We reason that way they won’t loss their beautiful home and we will be going to the nursing home next(kidding)
sounds like you ahave a very busy week
the kitties are so cute.
your mom and dad will love what you did with the chairs and it’s easy for us to do(I haven’t done it lately but something they won’t be able to do as well)
“Word for the next 4 years subterfuge”! Great word. Does that mean the same as “deceit” Scary times. Keep praying. Hey, we’ll survive but we may have to go underground.
You are a good daughter for doing that upholstery.
Yesterday, we ate at a wing place. It was FUN! Today, I’m making pepper Steak.
The weather here is FANTASTIC! Come on down!
Have a great week.
The chairs look good! I have two in my kitchen I’ve been meaning to get around to the last few years. One of these days….
Kitties are so cute! I wish mine would snuggle but the one doesn’t like the other. sigh…kids!
It was cold and windy here too. We even got a sprinkling of snow too, nothing to amount to anything.
I’ve seen those calcium pills and they’re HOOGE! I wonder why they don’t make them smaller?
HUGS…want to see you one day…will tell you when I drive up. Will bring something republican….and Republican!
HUGS and more HUGS
Since you asked, it is colder than I hoped it would be today, hence I have a golfer that wants to golf and can’t…
We had pancakes for dinner last night. I think we’re having eggs and sausage this evening.
Neat you still have your folks, and like to chum around with them. They’re pretty spry!
Calcium, I hope I have never ordered to take that every day. I’ve tried them and they have messed up my digestion.
Have a good skate!
Hooray for the bloodwork report! I tried to reupholster a bench once. I should have called you! Weather here is windy and warming today. We’re supposed to have 60′s on Wednesday – unheard of for February! I’m looking forward to it. Monday blessings, Mommers.
Those cats have such an easy life! Oh I guess they keep your house free of mice but other than that…Do they serve any purpose?
Oh..I suppose they are good Therapy cats. They are beautiful and I suppose that’s enough..
I am glad your blood analysis was good , Rosemary . That is a good news .
Bravo for your chair job ! What a handy woman ! I imagine all the family living like a tribe in case of crisis ( there already is the crisis )
Your cats are funny ones . they are too much spoiled , those cats !
“Subterfuge” is a French word . Je te fĂ©licite .
Love
