Greetings everypeople.
Well, first about Pierro… I have not put the two kitties together because, as an overly cautious former nurse… something told me to wait, at least until he was completely checked out by the doc and that the little kitten could adjust to the new environment (my bad piano playing included).
Last week Pierro had his hoo-ha’s removed and guess what? he tested postive for giardia in his poop, which is common in catteries.
And with the situation with the breeder being what it was, it was bound to happen.
Oh! I did not tell you about the breeder? Well, this guy was a really sweet russian fellow, Blizzie and I went there initially over spring break, one Saturday.
We went to his house and the place looked like it had not been cleaned much for a month or two… but it was fairly clean really, just tremendously cluttery, and a few completely dried out flower arrangements. So anyway, we met this guy and he told us about the kitties and so we played with them and I immediately fell in love with Pierro… so
Gosh this is a long story. I will just cut to the ending here.
Turns out the next week when hubby and I went out there he confessed to us that his wife died of a heart attack in February and he was managing everything on his own… and this was her passion, breeding showing cornish rex kitties. So he is just some retired guy living on his own managing the cattery.
so. Pierro is on meds for giardia. Princess does not exhibit any signs that she has the bacteria. The vet wanted me to give her the ghastly tasting treatments as well, I did for a few days and then yesterday stopped. so she has had 4 days of treatment. Pierro… it is obvious he is not over this.
Well, he is the very sweetest loveable kitty ever. He is Caesar back again as a kitten.
Today I took him in my arms and brought him to Princess (she will be 17 in 9 days)
Princess did not hiss. She raised her head from her nap and meowed gently to him. Three times.
I told her she was fantastic and amazing and then I took Pierro the poopkitty away.
so, what else is now.
Not much here.
I skate one day a week and I like that. I walk about two three miles a day (quickly) which is super great for the bloodpressure, wowie, for real!
OH my dad got the silver and the gold in the senoir Olympics this past week-end.
The gold in Singles Tennis final

I would tell you more stuff, but it is pretty dull, but certainly not boring.
The sun is not shining. we have had drabbiness for about 5 days and it looks like it will continue all the way into the week-end.
yay.
I hope you are happy and peppy.
