We are back from the vetlady in Leesburg. The tech was very very helpful.
This is going to be a piece of cake… I think. I will see tomorrow when I have to do it all myself, however I have already insisted that the rest of the family be involved in this. They must learn. What if I kick the bucket?Anyway, They gave me four different samples of canned food. Caesar likes the first one I opened. We gave him something as soon as we got home.
I think this will be okay… lots to do.
I read your blogs but sorry, I cannot comment all the time… just really busy now. I try to have a look around xanga in the evening and see how everyone is.
Thank you for all of the support. I feel like I have an army of friends behind me.
I can do this.In other news. We have video chat tonight.
Tomorrow, if things look okay, I am going to Fairfax for a groop lesson with Edwin, Martha and Christine.
I already told Edwin if he does not see me tomorrow… he will know why.
Then, when I get home I will give Caesar his first treatment. YayThe thing I hate about an argument
is that it always interrupts a discussion

So glad the tech was very very helpful….yes you can do this.
What a cute picture! My laundry isn’t nearly that precious.
Poor poor baby Caesar. He needs lots of tlc right now. Hugs.
Aw, look at laundry boy. Glad it’s going to be easy for you to learn. Glad the fam’s involved too, but you won’t be kickin’ any buckets, ya hear?
(((HUGS!)))
the photo is wonderful and he doesn’t look sick. I know when my dog had kidney and heart failure they said that if you fuss over them too much it makes them nervous so I was my usual loving self and broke down after she was gone.
Many hugs and prayers and all that
Y’all can handle this. I used to have to explain to guests why I had an IV bag of ringers lactate hanging from the towel bar in the bathroom
But it was alright. Love the picture…Josh is actually in the laundry basket on the warm clothes as I am typing!
Oh definitely. Someone should be there with you when you do this. Did the vet tech actually administer the injection.? How did Caesar behave.?
It’s going much more smoothly for us now. JouJou is acting quite normal. No one would know that she is sick. Yeah for SubQ….If it wern’t for that, we would be talking about her in the past tense. We are thinking of taking her visiting tomorrow. Been busy and haven’t been visiting for awhile. How often do you have to do it and how many milligrams?
HUGS
He’s so adorable with those big, bright green eyes. Yes, you can do this, piece of cake. My cat got a kidney infection a few years ago and she got so very sick. She pulled through but after I had to learn how to give her pills.
I’m with you on this thing. I know how close one gets to their kitty. I have a kitty who is 11 years old.
Oh, gosh. I’m so sorry to read that Caesar is sick. Our pets are like our children and we feel helpless when they’re in need of special attention. I sure hope all works out well. Aw.
hey, you.
<3
I gotta read pastposts to see what’s wrong with the big “C.”
PS GK Chesterton is one of Thing One’s faves.
I wish Cesar was going better . An apprpriate food and water will help him to face . Perhaps the good air of the laundry helps too !!!!
I see your picture Rosemary on the bridge with Blizzie . Wonderful picture . Elizabeth looks like you .
I liked also the graduation picture but I confess I had difficulties to discen Christabelle . Sorry .
I hope the lesson at faifax went well .
Love
Michel
we had a dog with kidney disease and we found a helpful diet and she lived in fairly good health until she passed. sometimes we get lucky…
Oh, Caesar looks so, so, so boyish. Just take some time with him and get his meds right. Hope you are well and your fam too. I have two more days and then will be freeeeeee. Wish me luck.
Widdle Caesarpoo! I hope this is going to bring him back to good health..and who better to care for him that Nurse Rosemary?
Just do not let them do anything else but the diet and fluids. I think it was a mistake letting the vet take out Sugar’s teeth. That really did it big time. I am saying a prayer for you both and hoping that this is going to work. Also, if he does not want to drink, a friend has had luck with an indoor fountain. Sugar did not, but when I took her to the bathroom sink, turned the water on low and pushed the plug down, she would drink with me supporting her front legs. The first vet I saw says they have had some success with this treatment. Let us hope Caesar is one of those. Let us know how he is doing.
I watched again the picture of the graduation and I saw Christabelle on the right . She is tall and indeed , smiling . She is happy , of course .
No post since wednesday ?
I hope all is well with Caesar .
Love to you Rosemary
