  • We received a lot of rain here in No. Va. since last Sunday. Maybe two whole inches of rain.
At present, it is so drab and dreary… we are actually loving it… the dampness, the greyness…
okay, maybe not, but it is a lot cooler and my birdbath is full.

This afternoon Blizzie and I went to Wal-Mart. That place is full of crazy people.
We had to get a few things that we were not able to find elsewhere….

Every day I just do the regular slave duties… man I am tired of this.
It seems everything I must do, takes all day.

I am actually looking forward to next month… skating.
I wonder how crummy I will be. …
    Oh well.

Want to see some cute pictures?
    okay

here is my mom and dad and Chrystabelle:

amd this is an olde picture from 1929. My dad (on the right) with his little brother.
My own little brother looked a lot like my dad as a little kid.

    So… what is going on?
    anything new? interesting?
    What are you thinking about???
    huh?

If you don’t get everything you want,
think of the things you don’t get

    that you don’t want.

  • Cute pics!  Your Dad is adorable….and he’s cute when he was little too!    Love the knee socks.

I will second that….Walmart is full of crazy people.    UGH.

I love that quote.  What’s going on?  Come over and see.

  • ALL the stores were full of crazy people today!  Last minute rush for back-to-school here – they start tomorrow (yay!).  I have picked up after so many other people’s kids I could scream!

Oh, those are nice pictures.  It looks like your Dad and your daughter are wearing almost the same shade of blue.  What a neat picture of your dad as a boy.  I love the old pictures like that.

  • I love the mary jane shoes your dad is wearing in the picture of him as a boy! Have you posted pictures of your parents when they were young married people? I would like to see one.

  • Cutie pics!  We got a lil bit of rain, and the coolness it brought was great… even though the humidity made the air thick as buttah and it was gray and hazy (graZy? )  It left too soon, because we only got the very tip of the weather you had.  IMO, Wal-Mart when it’s rainy is the most insane of ALL!  Re the slave duties: I have often said, “The trouble with life is that it’s so darn daily!”  LOL, can you relate?  (((HUGS!)))

  • I love the pic of your father and his brother.  The brother’s outfit is adorable.

  • how about one of your mum now? Your dad is still the same.

  • Love the pics.  Maybe I should put some up of my old shots of family members.

If you think Wal Mart is a crazy place in the daytime, you should go late at night!!!!!!!!

  • Uck. Wal Mart. Ours is always a mess. Your dad DOES look the same! Such a cute little boy. His brother looks like he did not want his picture taken, lol. Christina looks very happy in that photo. Such a pretty young lady.

  • Very nice pics.  I love the olde ones.

I’d like to have a couple of damp, grey days.  It’s such an oven here!  Hopefully tomorrow we’ll get some rain, and have a pleasant weekend.

Waiting is the only thing going on around here.

  • No, nothing interesting or new here.  Summer had finally arrived though and I’m in favor of that.  Good luck when you start skating again.

  • The picture is so clear and nice colors. Did you get a new camera?

I’m way behind reading. Xanga still isn’t sending my subs so I get this dumb idea no one is writing and I go off and do other things. I wonder if anyone else has this trouble?

  • I love old pictures.  Whenever I see a black and white pic, I know it is going to be interesting.  Your pic is so old it is kind of sepia toned, which is even cooler.   Love those knee socks!

  • It is quite humid here and I hate that the most.

RYC I don’t care if my “nurse” is crummy for I will give her the full hostess with the mostest deal! Like you, I love these young college kids!

  • I like this photo Rosemary .

    Love
