  • quick up date.
    mom is home.
they kept her all day yesterday in something like an ICU step down unit. Did a bunch of tests that all came back normal.
She does have an irregular heartbeat. They put her on a very low dose of coumadin.
They are treating her with antibiotics. She has bronchitis. Her head is okay
She was released to go home last evening. Dad picked her up.
She has to go to her doc on Thursday.
I will call her this afternoon. I am sure she is glad to be home with her cookies and tea.

    Presently.
I am up. just rolled out of bed. I am getting prepared to take Jason to the dentist to get his wisdom teeth removed.

Then I will stay at the apartment until around 1 or 2.
I have my books and pencils packed so I can study my Français and do some coloring. I got  6 new pencils yesterday but I still cannot find pumpkin orange….
    I have french class tonight

    hafta go. more coffee.
    try to look, uhm… awake.
    *yawn*

thank you thank you thank you for the prayers. I know they worked. She is home!

  • That’s wonderful news about your mom. I’m so glad there was nothing seriously wrong with her.  The bronchitis can be handled. I know she’s kicking up her heels right about now!!! As are the rest of you!

  • Yay! I’m glad she’s home and I hope she gets over her bronchitis soon!

  • Great to hear that she is home, and nothing seriously wrong.  We always worry when something happens to the elderly.  Even though I am a Christian, I always seem to gravitate to the worst scenario when something like this happens.  Shame on me!  God is powerful, and prayers certainly work!!

  • You cannot find pumpkin orange?  Dang.  It’s fall and you need the color!

I hope you have a good day.

  • do you have hobby lobby out there? hey, I want to see the drawing of course when you’re all done.

Coumadin is a blood thinner but stronger then the baby asa that I take.

  • I am glad you mother has nothing major wrong. It must have been so worrying for you – but your nursing background and your sister around must have stopped you having a neurotic heebyjeeby fit (like me).

Prismacolor pencils are wonderful.  You might find the colour you are looking for here.

  • Great news!

  • Jason?  Is that Christa’s beau?  I feel outtatheloop!  Glad your Mom is home… that will make her and your dad feel better.  Dorothy was right: there’s no place like home.  Maybe next time she will listen when you suggest she goes to the doc… just maybe?  If you were near here, I’d take you to Mona Lisa, the art store near me and I’d get the owner, Larry Scquichiarrini (sp?) to find that ponkin orange fer ya! (((HUGS!)))

  • i looked it up… it’s Squicciarini… isn’t that a funny name??
