  • Yippeeeeeeeee
just checked the fed ex delivery status and my pencils are coming today.
    YAY.

I am going to the rink to skate (duh) now.
I have been skating at the Log Cabin John syrup rink, because Fairfax has had consistantly crummy ice.

This afternoon I will have a bazzzzzillion colored pencils. I will show you.
    A bientot

    From ghoulies and ghosties
    And long-leggedy beasties

And things that go bump in the night,

    Good Lord, deliver us!

  • I get to see you in less than one week! Yippee! No colored pencils. I don’t do colored pencils!!!!!

  • bientot sounds like a different language.  We would have to go like 30miles to ice skate here. I hear that the eskimos have alot of different words for snow-wonder if crummy ice is one of them?

  • Yay for prizes/pencils in the mail! You made me think of what Byron used to do (back before Fedex even.) Because good things had come to him in a brown truck, Byron would see a UPS truck and say, “Hey, here I am!  My house is this way!”  Hehe!  I hope the new pencils inspire you.  Maybe thinking about them will even help you with your ice twirlies today! Hope you have fun! That’s a funny quote.

  • wheeeeeee….ssssskkkkkaaaaatiiiiiiiiiiiing….AND colored pencils!!!!!

  • Yay for YOU.  Have a fun day!

  • Oooh, fresh colored pencils!  I would want to have at least one of EVERY color, I’m afraid!

    Have a good skate!!!

  • I can’t even draw and I love colored pencil….and crayons. There’s something about a brand new box of crayons.

Enjoy your time at the rink.

  • Hey uh…can I borrow a pencil?

RYC: I have to give up one Target as I’m only allowed two. Since both Winchester and Front Royal are so close it makes sense to give up the one furthest away. In a couple of years we get a second Target in Winchester so I’ll drop Front Royal all together.

  • Every day I read from Simple Abundance  A Daybook of Comfort and Joy by Sarah Ban Breathnach. One entry says to go buy the BIG box of crayons with ALL the colors and I got the concept immediately. There was nothing to compare with buying pencils, crayons and paper to start school. I hope this brings you all the happiness and rediscovery you so richly deserve, Rosemary!

    Love always,

    Bev
