Here it is Saturday again.
What happened to this week?
I have been very busy.
We got the fence installed last Monday.
Those guys did a fabulous job. Best fence in the neighborhood. We are so happy with our fence. I think it improves the lot. See the silly 3 level houses (our real estate agent neighbor calls the Morphed townhouses) they put in?The white house behind us are The Cambos.
They are nice people but they are from – yep, Cambodia. The two owners are second generation so they are pretty good about living in this kind of a neighborhood (with loads of rules and “an association”) but they have their “family” living with them and they do have some strange customs…. sheeesh.
I won’t go into that today.we are very happy to have our fence.
I just got my flu shot about two hours ago. I hope I do not get any side effects. My arm does hurt.
I skated twice last week. I hope to skate three times next week. I am only skating at Cabin John now.
I am stillllll working on my picture. It is almost done. When it is finished I will take a photo of it and let you see. I am pretty happy with it… just have not been in the right state of mind.
I have completed all of the squashies, and the tomato. I am just spending a lot of time carefully working on those zinnias. magenta, magenta and heavy magenta, and the leaves and stems in various shades of green.I have not had français class in two weeks. The teacher went on a cruise. Class resumes this Tuesday. I have been doing some studying and our library has free “Rosetta Stone french Class” online for library card owners (me) so I have been doing that online stuff as much as I can.
I have been playing moderately bad paino.
The kitties are doing fine.So that is the update on me.
Qu’est-ce qui se passe?
Comment ça va?~ It isn’t the mountains ahead that wear you out,
It’s the grain of sand in your shoe ~

How nice that you have Cambos in the Condos(I hope that no one takes offense…)
That fence looks nice. I know that neighborhood has changed a great deal since you moved there. I just wonder where all these people come from??
When our son lived up “your way”, the neighborhood looked very similar. There was a nice walkway where you could walk in the woods and by streams. I liked that. Now they live in NJ…also a pretty neighborhood.
Je vais bien.
I love your fence. My house would fit in your garage. My house looks like a garage with all the junk stored in it. Time to clean house.
Au revoir.
Your yard is huge !!! How do you ever keep it mowed and weed eated???? But it’s beautiful too. I love the fence !
Very nice fence. You must be so pleased!
Can’t wait to see your picture when you’re finished. Oh..and glad the kitties are doing well.
Nice fence. That’s a rather large yard for A-burn, isn’t it?
I refuse to get the flu shot. It seems everyone I’ve ever known who has gotten one ends up with the flu. I’ll just take my chances without….and watch, next week I’ll be sick…
I didn’t realize how large your yard is! The fence looks fab! I know you are happy with it…I’m thinking maybe a puppy would look cute out in that nicely fenced yard!
Nice lawn to mow. I like the fence. Spiffs up the neighborhood. How are the parents? The daughters?
glad you mentioned the cats.
that is a beautiful fence and yard
Yes, I agree with everyone else, great looking fence. I had a fence installed where I lived a few years ago and it was a disaster. The contractor apparently lied about his experience and then disappeared….grrrr. Oh well, live and learn. Okay, so what kind of strange customs do your neighbors have anyway? Now I’m curious. Just got my flu shot too. I’ve been told there are no side effects aside from the sore arm but I’m not so sure about that.
Hope you have a great week!
Beautiful new fence. Really looks super.
Flu shots for us about 10 days ago. So far, so good.
Have a great week.
She wrote FRENCH! Oh no, where’s the translator? : )
That is a lovely fence – and a lot of it, too! I would much prefer wood over the old chainlink that has always been here, but apparently I must buy such things as new transmissions for a car instead. That’s no fun at all. Makes me feel that I am just earning money to pay for a car so that I can earn money, to pay for car repairs, so that I can – well, you get the picture!
And speaking of picture (nice segue, huh?), looking forward to seeing yours! I’m sure it’s lovely!
Now you can get a little doggiepoo! The fence looks very nice. I know you’ll enjoy it.
Have a wonderful Sunday.
Mom gets her flu shot. I read an article about the mercury in the vaccine and that it contributes to Alzheimers. I wonder how many hundreds a person needs before there’s a danger? I’m not sure about the shots. It only works for two strains…and there are so many? What’s a girl to do? Anyway, I guess it’s better to get it.
That is a classy fence! Glad you finally got it installed. It really does look good.
Since my flu shot was free, I got one last week. My nurse students say you don’t get flu from the shot, that you already had it when you got the shot. Good thinking, kids! I was hoping to see a picture of the combobulated fence. It is grand! Are you going to paint or stain it? I have a fence similar to yours, but six feet high. My house is in a poor neighborhood with lots of mischief so I like the privacy it gives me.
As for your quote, this week I felt like the oyster trying to make a pearl out of a grain of sand. That ain’t too pretty either!
Nice fence, I’m not used to seeing ones you can see through.
Tell me again, why did you want a fence? lol
That is a very nice looking fence! Every time that I take a flu shot, I’m sick for a week with the flu.
I’m glad that everyone in you family is doing well. Enjoy your skating!
Ca , c ‘ est une superbe clôture ! In wood s ‘il vous plaît !!!!! Cela vaut une fortune !!!!
I hope those wods in French are easy to read for you Rosemary
Frankly you have now a superb fence that completes the style of your beautiful house .
Glad all is well for you all and your parents
Love
Michel
Those 3 storey houses are all the fashion here now as well
What a pretty fence! I had to laugh at Robbie’s comment though…my house would fit in your garage too
rtc: The surgery came up so fast! We are having some insurance changes and end of the year stuff, so we had to get it done soon. The only time they had before the new year was October 30
But I am so glad to have it over and done with. I knew this was coming since my last c-section. I asked them to spay me then, but they said I would lose too much blood and stuff. It just seemed more efficient to me
Glad to see you though. I miss your posts when you are busy doing real stuff in the real world
(((hugs)))
Pas de nouveau post , Rosemary ?
J ‘ espère que tu vas bien .
Your progresses in French are amazing . Encouragements !
Love
Michel
Just read this….seems when I was with Larry I spent too much time on him and not enough time on Xanga or myself….sigh. The “wrong” is “righted” whether I want it to be or not.
I love the fence.
When I lived in the big house on Green Trellis, I had Chinese neighbors across the street. They have her parents and she and her husband and a college age son who comes and goes. I call that three generations in one house in a single family home area.
