    Great choice!
It will be interesting to see if Americans trust the democrat all lawyers team,
or a republican team of normal people.

  • I too, am excited about her!

  • Me too!! I love it!

  • hee hee…normal people.

  • this is going to be very interesting isn’t it?

  • You ladies realize she is pro life and is against all abortion, even in the case of rape?  You really want the government to have control over your personal lives and choices? OH yes and she is a member of the National Rifle Association and loves guns.  McCain is pulling out the stops, trying to get the sympathy of women. I am pro life too, but I am more pro choice…I suppose if you are happy with how the past 8 years have gone then you will be happy with McCain and Palin, it’s a free country after all.

  • @mammaquiet -

I understand your feelings completely. If these are staunch issues and THE deciding factors on your decision of who to vote for, then you certainly can. As they say, “more power to you”.
Sarah Palin has 14 years of executive experience and four of those years as, Mayor and Governor of a state.
That is a lot more experience than Obamessiah “the organizer”. Obiden, he is olde Washington (he has been in DC politics longer than McCain!). He always votes for his party, and with his party. He is a follower
Obamessiah, not much history on this guy except the past TWO years as a “senator” (18 months of which he spent running for Prez) he voted with his party, and a flip flopper as well.
Obamessiah is not really the leader of the Dim party, Pelosi is.

Me? I just like the name Sarah.

  • @mammaquiet - After doing my own research, I find that Bush has been quite remarkable in the amount of positive(very positive achievements over the past 8 years..in spite of the very liberal media in tank for the dems and in spite of the worst(democratic, of course) congress in US history. ) Obama’s idea of change would be to put us in a great deal of danger with his desire for power over the good of the country, his arrogance, his lies, his incredible ignorance of foreign affairs, his being a puppet of George Soros and other’s who have a hatred of America and….higher taxes for all of his programs.  Talk about government control????  O boy.  He would enact the so-called “freedom act” which would effectively eliminate Conservative talk radio.  His rise to the top was at the expense of all of his Chicago rivals who he found reason to disqualify.  The “change” under Obama would be not be a change for the better.  He is an associate and admirer of a known radical terrorist.  ….That’s the guy you want??????

He is a puppet for Soros who wants to change the USA into a socialistic nation…

  • It’s shur nice to see you abloggin’ regular girly!!heeeheee

  • @josaju - Silly girl!  I’m sure you meant the “fairness doctrine” and not the “freedom act”  I hate to correct someone in public but I’ll make an exception this time.

  • I avoid getting into politics in my blog, but I think McCain’s choice was a brilliant move on his part.  She has moved up through the ranks very quickly, which shows she is one smart cookie.  The things she may not be completely up on, such as foreign policy, she will learn quickly enough.  It certainly will make for an interesting couple months up until the election, that is for sure!

Good to see you blogging more regularly again.  I missed you!!  Now, I haven’t checked a map, but will Blizzie be closer to home now??  I would imagine it was a little easier saying good-bye this year than it was last year.  I think the year went by very quickly!

  • I pretty much avoid politics also.  Brings the beast out in most everyone.  So disappointed that Obama chose Biden.  Could have been an interesting race between both team, with women as VP choices.

  • Umm yeah…you certainly wouldn’t want any lawyers stinkin’ up the joint.. *slinks away sheepishly and hides her degree*

  • @notagoose -

Oh Goosie…. the dims always have lawyers on their ticket.
It’s nothing personal, trust me… my niece is a lawyer… it is just… that they have no executive experience, they have never managed anything, never run a company and these two guys never even dedicated any military service to their country.
Obama is Jimmy Carter II (not Kennedy), and Obiden is older “same old no change Washington” than McCain.

    I love politics.

I grew up in Europe, my parents survived a horrible war. People in the US complain if they can’t afford the new Xbox, drive a Hummer, get a house with a mortgage they can’t afford. People here do not know suffering, that is why we have lost respect with countries around the world.

I love lawyers. I wish I had gone to Law school instead of nursing skul. I know all things medical, which is not always such a good thing, really.

  • NORMAL is relative.  Surely.

  • I love her, too. Thanks for putting her up here!

  • We often take for granted
    the very things
    that most deserve our gratitude.

    I stole that from a blog above I think…

    I will use it…. Thanks and Sorry…

There is nothing wrong with politics that conservative republicans won’t fix……..
