Another Tuesday.
I am cleaning today.
Why am I sitting here at the computer typing? Well…
I found a special exclusive rear view photo of Mt. Rushmore.
I had to share it with you.

One suspects the average American will grow to loath those two words.
Here is why .
A common flaw some folks seem to have is the belief
that someone else can make their life better.
Robert Frost wrote a poem titled “The Road Not
Taken”. Americans are again at the fork in the
road and have chosen to take the heavily traveled
path into socialism/Marxism as so many have
traveled before. One can see where that path
leads but most Americans today, unlike Frost, do
not even bother to look far down the socialism
path to see and access it’s failures.

yes, I think America is headed that way but what can you do? It seems that the majority want a hand out. So the working folks will have to shoulder the bill.

If I could just find some money to hide. The great thing about not being rich is that the kids aren’t hovering over us waiting for us to kick the bucket.
I’m a part of the presidential prayer team. I pray for the best for the USA… and for wisdom for Obama….However, I admit to having some rather unkind thoughts about Nancy Pelosi…Yikes. That woman has way too much power. I hope Obama can reign her in.
I always start out in the morning with great expectations of accomplishments throughout the day. I usually fizzle out in mid afternoon…

The humor in the MAD cover is has sooo many layers. To start with republican fanatics were pro-smoking till O was nominated. Now they criticize it left and right. ROTF!!!

I am not a republican fanatic by any stretch of the imagination…. however are you aware that there is NO smoking at all on Federal Property?
I wonder where he has to go for his ciggie breaks LOL

@mommers - I never suggested you were a fanatic. (Did you illistrate the magazine?)
Funny you should say that about federal policy. Congressman, Eric Massa (D-NY-29) was telling me the other day that all the meeting rooms on the republican side of the house chambers, are smoking. (Whereas all the Dem rooms are non smoking.)
Not sure if he was exagerating or what, but I doubt he could even front the claim if there were no smoking allowed at all on the property.

That is indeed incorrect information. All of the buildings on Capitol Hill and the Pentagon are non smoking.
I know this for fact, been there. signs everywhere “no smoking”
I’ve been to the pentigon, a few other places and you are correct that I never saw a smoking area there but the pentigon is huge.
Again a US Congressman seems to disagree with you about the capitol. That’s all I can say about that. Every other member of congress I know, has been out of office five or more years.
Cyn is in the cookie testing line….who cares about the other stuff….it is all about the cookies.
