This morning hubby left for a trippy to Michigan. He is driving half way, staying in Sag-in-naw, and then continuing on to Marquette tomorrow.
He is going up there to see his dad. long story. long long story.
He will be home on Saturday or Sunday (I can’t remember)Today Blizzie and I went to the handsome dermatologist and got another script for accutane. He raised her dose to 60mg. I am not thrilled about it but we will see… it comes in 20mg so she would take three pills a day. If she starts turning into a raisin maybe she will knock the dose back down to 40mg.
Stupid pills. poor Blizzie.
I made a peach pie this morning. we are going to eat some, and then go to Target… maybe if we are peppy.
It is quite hot here, and I have been soooo lazy, and a bit crabby. Maybe because it is so hot. Last night we went for a walk and it was sooo hot. Golly, it does not make me feel perky.
I am sick to pieces of summer.
Blizzie goes back to college in two weeks… so that part of summer I am not sick of.
I think I am going to see my parents on Wednesday or Thursday. They do not keep their house very cool so I better wear tiny clothing…I regret that I have not been around xanga land. I just have not had anything to say. Sometimes I read my subs. So, if something is urgent that I need to know… tell me. Like your arm fell off, or you can’t find your watch, or you need a new tooth brush… that sort of thing.
I need to know that.
We are having pie for dinner.
The kitties are doing wonderful. Caesar is a skunk and Prinnie is just tolerating the added attention. Subq’s are going well. I am not sure how this is going to go when Bliz goes off to college… not sure.
I found an old pair of yellow shorts in my closet… and I put them on. Wow, they looked crazy. The legs were huge and baggy. Was that a style that we recently had? because these shorts looked practically new but I must have worn them a few times.
Old clothing is scary. What is the scariest item of clothing that you can remember or own that would just be crazy to wear now?
Okay I will end here. This is enough.
oooh one hour until peach pie time. Now that it’s all over,
what did you really do yesterday
that’s worth mentioning?~Coleman Cox

It is just too dang hot, that makes me cranky, too.
Stay in the cool. I would love to see a pic of you in your yellow baggy shorts.
I made a peach pie before we went to see Ken last weekend for his birthday, thinking we’d get to share it together with our friends Dan and Sue. Only none of us were hungry so I left the entire pie at camp so Ken and the hungry college boys were planning to devoer (I wish I could spell) at the stroke of midnight, when Ken turned 23. He never told me how it tasted. Sigh. Bet it was delish.
I used to….check that, I still have a couple of jean jackets. So 1980.
Sayyyy…I have something urgent. If you’re going to Target could you straighten up the costume jewelry for me?
Too hot is NO fun. Boo! Yellow shorts? Let’s see! We need a picture!
My mouth is watering smelling that peach pie! : )
Oh, anything I wore as a teen would qualify as scary (on me) now…boots & miniskirts, maxi-skirts, peasant tops, oh, man, elephant bell jeans!
So your daughter is going back soon. The pie sounds good. Remember when we all used to wear in the late 80′s and early 90′s the one piece outfits.Look like a clown outfit now. I think little girls still wear them.
mmm peach pie. I haven’t been here (Xanga) either. My folks keep their house at about 80 degrees. I can’t hardly tolerate it. I have a thyroid prob and it makes me hot. Not “hot-hot” but temp hot..you know. Good to see you.
Peach pie sounds really good to me, especially the homemade kind. I think peach is one of my very fav pies. It’s cooled off here today, but it promises to be back hot again tomorrow. Oh, I got a new toothbrush, in case I forgot to tell you.
I have to have a cavity filled too… it’s one that was suppose to be worked on but I had a PE instead… I think I prefer the filling. I haven’t been around X-hood much either…. I just been doing stuff… sometimes even loafin’ and sleepin’! Love yas! Snuggle the BliZZ and the kitties for me.
Mmm… pie… I hope you enjoyed it. Have a great week!
Sooooooo happie to see you in my comments! This post of yours is chock full o’gems. Gotta go work out(In the A/C gym.) I will ruminate on the crazy outfit thing and return. My gut reaction is a plaid empire-waited dress with a sash that I wore in 1976 with green tights. I was dancing at the time and weighed maybe 115 at 5’7″. But I may be able to think of something more hideous and recent.
Now that you mention it, I do need a new head for my Sonicaire. I better dig up a BBB coupon……
Oh my…that quote makes me wonder just what I did yesterday that was worthwhile….hmmmm. I’ll try to do something worthwhile today so tomorrow I can have something to say…I already have accomplished that goal: I read your blog.
Do you really want to know if I need a new toothbrush? I didn’t think so. I’m going to post pics of my new clothes. They aren’t scarry. It’s not the clothes that are scary…it’s me, wearing them.
Peach pie is my all time favorite. It’s healthy too!! Peaches are one of the most wonderful gifts God gave us.
Do you have your own peach trees?
HUGS
About the shorts what can I say , Rosemary if not the fashion changes fastly ….like women !!!
Dont beat me please !
But something worries me . What do both you and Elizabeth suffer to need a dermatologist ? Please tell me .
Enjoy this time of laziness to gain strength when you will strart again the skate .
Much love
Michel
My son came over to sleep at my place today and almost froze me out of my own home. (He is sleeping here because he works at night and the kids are not in school yet) I turned the air back to about 75 degrees. I can take it about that temp in the morning, not later afternoon though.
I am kinda okay. Glad to have the colonoscopy over.
Peach pie? Send some my way. I have some dandy vanilla ice cream that would set that pie off!.
Okay, I have found earlier this week, a beautiful nightgown I used to wear. It is tangerine color. Very chic.
Crazy old clothes I remember? Crinolines and hose with seams and hats and gloves to church.
You think it’s hot there, come here. lol
