  • Oh gosh it is Saturday already… *sigh*
Blizzie and hubby left for the kollig compound this morning at 6:00 am. I could not go… no room in the car.

I hope this is a good year for Blizkin. Send good vibes, please.
I will see her next week, because I have to drive up and take her to the local quest lab for her monthly accutane bloodwork.
I’ll tell you, every one gets something… bad zits, big butt, unruly hair, crappy teeth, crooked feet, and the list goes on. Every one gets some annoying affliction.

I could easily climb back in bed right now.

    More coffee.
I am going to water the trees all day today… and maybe my gardens.

here are a few pics of the yard:
side yard. see the silly new houses across the street

    frontal yard

    front yard

    I must end here.
    Gosh, I miss Blizzie already.
It really is good I did not go along this morning.
    Less sobbing

    Life is a tapestry:
    We are the warp;
    angels, the weft;
    God, the weaver.

Only the Weaver sees the whole design.

  • very pretty yard. We are in a play and only the angels and God are in the audience. Sorry your youngster has flown the coop. I know how you feel.

  • Pretty flowers.  I like your garden.

  • Nice yard. I was in your neck of the woods this week, I had a service to do in Walgreens and I drove through AB to get there and back. It’s pretty out there in the summer and I love all of the water fountains.

  • Aw, I hate it when they go back!  I still have a couple of weeks before she officially goes back to school, but she will be throwing herself into activities soon, so it will be the same thing.  It’s nice that you can look forward to seeing her next week, even if it is for a yucky thing.

You flowers are pridddy!  I have some of the pink zinnias(?) but they are not doing as well as yours, I think.  It’s been so hot and dry here that it’s difficult to keep them as watered as they’d like.

I always wished I could skip those drives back – it’s a lot easier now that she drives herself.  Maybe.

  • Awww….I am sending good vibes.

I love all your beautiful pretties.  It’s so nice to see an Eastern garden.

  • Gosh, your yard is nice, esp.considering the drought. Good vibes to The Bliz. I supposedly take Thing One back Tuesday. But after two days on antibiotic, I’m not much better. Back to the doc or he’ll have to go alone.

  • As thin as you are, I can’t believe they couldn’t squeeze your butt in the car.

Thank you for your comment. It really is an amazing thing when they realize I really want to know these things about them. My next question will be “What would you like to change about yourself?”

  • You have much to do with all those flowers in your yard , Rosemary . But this helps you to make softer the departure of Blizzie . I wish .

    Love

    Michel

  • I’ll send some of our rain!

  • Geez.  No fair, my flowers just up and died.  Yours look great.  Maybe it was the triple digit temps we had for so long.  I watered at night, but it didn’t do much good.  Now I have to have interrment of the dead plants.

Children going away to college is good preparation……for us to miss them.  My sons are old and long out of college, but I miss them still and more so this time of year.

“They hold our hands for a moment, and our hearts forever….”

  • RYC I was hoping you would leave a comment knowing you are a skilled nurse. I will certainly ask my NP about that change in meds.

Maybe you remember that a young man from this parish was in England going to school when I was there last year and he spent the weekend with me. He came home for a month and left to go back Thursday. I asked his mom today if she was able to hold back the tears and she did, but she said she let loose after! It doesn’t get easier, either!

Your yard is almost as lovely as you! After my first husband died one of his legacies was a yard filled with exotic flowers and plants for he was a member of the Danviille Men’s Garden Club and was quite active. After his death in Dec. I floundered until summer when a neighbor taught me to care for the yard. Each nite after work I would change and work in the yard till dark, take a shower and eat and shortly after go to bed. For the first time since his death, I was able to sleep a dreamless sleep. Gardening has to be the most reliable counseling you can find!

    Love always,

    Bev

  • Love your flowers!

It’s hard taking our girls back to school.  I made Danielle stay in her room when I was leaving, I didn’t want her to walk me out because it was just a matter of time before the tears were going to show up, for both of us.  I did cry a little bit, but Gator was with me, he cheered me right up.  He’s good about that.

Don’t you speed next week, you do not need another speeding ticket.

  • *Here’s a tissue* for your tears!  I yike that quote… made me wonder if angels get big butts and zits and stuff.  I know you: you’ll take any excuse to see BliZZie! I love you and hope you are having a good day! (((HUGS!)))
