Every day has been so busy here, I have had nary a moment to bloggg.
However, tomorrow I get to babysit the lawn… hubby has to go to a conference thingToday, hubby and I are going to my parents house. I think we are going to talk about wills and other creepy stuff.
Hopefully not the whole time.Everything is good here… sort of. Yeah, yeah, it is.
I like my french class, my skating has been mediocre, I do not like my drawiing class.
The teacher is annoying and horrible. I would kwittttt the class but I would not get a refund of my green papers, so I will just go and be entertained by her horribleness.
Well, first day of class, two hours long. no drawing, just listening to her yack about HER life. It was sickening.
Tomorrow … oh yeahhhh, I have to go out and buy stuff for a “still life” I am going to buy some squashies, a pumpiekin and maybe some tomatoes. I am going to get some zinnias from my garden and bring those too. The crummy teacher said no flowers. I am bringing flowers because I am not listening to that rubbbbish. My zinnias are cool looking and I want to draw them.Happy uh… Wednesday.
Be crazy happy today. wwell, if you want.

Speak up and tell the art teacher…”How about less gab and more lab”? Your money, your zennias, your inspiration. How dare she tell you what NOT to draw for your still life work? Gee, the very last thing an ART teacher should do is to short circuit your inspiration.
I’m glad you like your Frenchie class. When you go shopping in Paris you will be able to chat with the shop owners fluently!
Wills, Living Wills, Living Trusts…not fun but important. It’s a good thing that you all will be discussing that stuff. Do the work but just tell yourself no one will ever be needing any of it and you’ll feel better.
She just blabbed about herself for two hours? Boo! Bad form. Yes, you take your flowers in there.
Oh… man….that’s a scary quote.
Our parents took care of the wills themselves—thank goodness. But Ken’s mother changed hers a while after she had her stroke. Caused some VERY bad feelings between a couple of the siblings. To our minds, life is too short to squabble over money and presumed inequity. We brought our wills up to date around the time Ken retired. Figured our almost 40-year old boys wouldn’t like to live with their aunt if we died (She was named guardian way back when our boys were small–in our first wills) lol! Also took care of all the Powers of Attorney, too. Dealing with my dad in AZ made me realize how important POAs were!!
Hope your drawing–with your beautiful zinnias in it—turns out scrumptious!
Wonder why no flowers. Maybe you can talk to the people who are in charge of the art teacher and let them know she is icky… I think they should give you a refund. Art should be fun and a lot of other things, but nevah EVAH horrible! I know you took some cookies, or will have some cookies while you have to talk about difficult things with your parents… my parents have a fi-planning guy… he did all that for them… they would not even consider involving me, LOL! Hope your trip is otherwise very pleasant! (((HUGS!)))
So sometime you have to tell me the story of that pink-faced donutty thing in the profile pic!
It’s been busy around here, too. I watered the lawn Saturday, took me all day!
You take those flowers, for goodness sakes. Maybe she’s allergic? Let’s hope so!
But, but, but, don’t zinnias grow up and get put in fruit drinks or something? If it is a still life, why can’t zinnias go? Not fair.
Draw a cartoon of the art teacher and put it up in the women’s bathroom.
snickering @ savondujour… Love it!
I am glad you like the French class , Rosemary .
A drawing teacher who speaks only is weird ? Give her a charcoal and a paper !
I hope you had a good time at your parents ‘ yesterday .
Love
Michel
I really didn’t like this one teacher and we turned out to be friends. I thought Barb was such a know it all and then I realized we had alot in common.LOL
Is she like talking about her artist background at least?
Take the flowers….you rebel.
Then Rosemary said, “So there, too!” I just love you, Rosie, which rhymes with Posie, so there, too!
Maybe she thinks the flowers won’t last long enough…zinnias are pretty tough, though.
I think Husby & I probably should do the will thing ourselves. But it costs money!
My mom hated having to draw the selected still life as I recall.
Your teacher talking about her life reminds me of the old guy in our church teaching driving classes for the AARP. Two years of that class was enough for me.
You better listen to teacher or she’ll put you in time out!
Why are so many art teachers so bad? I had one that killed my whole desire for drawing. I think drawing is a very personal thing and teachers should be there to encourage…not to discourage.
I’m glad you enjoy your French class. Such a beautiful language.
