Oh gosh, where do I begin!
Well, hubby went to the cable company and picked up some box for our TV… he brought it home… and now we have many many channels.
We do not really watch TV, so…
We have been watching a lot of National Geographic.
Oh well, of course I am watching that AND studying my Français, (I made my self some awesome flash cards
)
and also working on my still life. [click to biggify, peeps]
Here is what I had this morning…. I have lots more now

Presently, we have the German Beer Drinking music channel on.
Hey, I can understand every other word… or more. Very cute and fun to dance to as well.
Horst Du, Sie Spiel’n Unseren Walzer …. la la la la la la….I hope everyone is happy and peppy.
It is hot here, bleh, and dry. We are on water retrictions, however hubby got a waiver because of the new lawn.
We are being very very careful about water though…
Aufwiedersehen!!!!!Oh, uh and Au revoir
Bonsoir
and…
A bientot (I don’t know how to make that cute little circumflex thingy)We have been taught to believe
that negative equals realistic
and positive equals unrealistic.Susan Jeffers
so not true
so stoppit!

Try to find the “Planet Earth” series of shows. Oh my! what a beautimous and fantastical world in which we live. Ciao!
No cable box until now? That means you missed The Sopranos, Deadwood, Rome….oh the humanity! Discover, Animal Planet, History channel is awesome too. So many interesting and informative programs to enjoy.
Your sketch looks really good. I see you have mucho talents! Can’t wait to see the finished picture.
Have a lovely evening..stay cool and study your flash cards.
Hola! Coma esta?
Opps! Wrong language!
I found that I was fine without cable. I could watch the shows I like on the net…however there must be a glitch somewhere because it’s not working this week.
Your drawing is coming along nicely. I see you divided the photo into squares, a classic way to teach drawing.
Au revoir
I really like your art and now I can see why the teacher had you take the photo. Cool. I don’t watch alot of t.v. either but the hubby does.
Ha! I was coming by to tell you to find the Planet Earth shows, someone beat me to it. They are just beautiful! We watch Discovery in HD all the time.
Very nice sketch there, and the flowers are just the perfect touch. Are you eating a cookie in that profile pic?! Sighh….I’m so jealous.
Au revoir!
Oh, what are you going to paint with? I’m excited about this. Didn’t know you did art! I love having artsy frens! LOL!
IS that the famous still life?
Okay…I’lll stopit.
That’s gorgeous! (And I love the rebel flowers!) : )
Looks like you have a very good eye. I can’t wait to see this develop – you will keep us posted, won’t you?
Oils, watercolors, acrylics, pastels…? I love oils best, myself. But they take a long time to dry and I think you said you don’t have much time allotted to the painting?
You know, all the drawing classes I took and they NEVER used the grid method – isn’t that funny? I really felt that they never taught anything, they just turned people loose in the room. It was fun, but still – a little guidance would have been nice, too.
Your learning German on top of French on top of being a fantastic budding artist while watching t.v…..gee whiz are you trying to give me an inferiority complex?
Love that last bit.
You guys have been so busy the last few weeks.
Yay for having cable, and yay for the flowers! I can’t wait to see the finished drawing!
