We are getting a lot of rain.
It is okay. we need it so badly, I can stand the drabbiness.I have been doing various slave duties today, and stopping to work on my picture.
Last evening it was pouring rain… but I packed up my art stuff and went out to the skul for my very last drawing class.
I went only because I wanted to see everyone elses drawings.I showed up at 6:30 and no one was there and the class room door was locked, but then one of the ladies in the class showed up…. later the “drawing teacher” showed up.
The door was unlocked and then we just sat around for others to show up… man I wished I had not gone…………… yeah.
Only one other lady showed up, we shared our drawings. One lady’s, the “guidance counselor”, hers was very unique. She had a very interesting bunch of stuff to draw. Strawberries, a kiwi and small sunflowers and some other food item, don’t remember. Her drawing was very bright and nice, but she separated the colors so much that everything looked “striped” with the different color grades. It looked very unique, that is all I can say. The other lady did her drawing on darker paper. Her’s had two oranges, one cut in half, some strawberries, and a huge blackberry in the front. Her drawing was well done. Most of it looked very 3-D, a few of the fruits needed a bit more.
Both of these women were about where I was… not quite finished, still some untouched things.
both of their drawings were very vivid.
I was impressed. Very impressed with both of their drawings. I did not take any photos of their drawings becuase even though I tossed my camera in my purse, I just felt like I shouldn’t… so I didn’t. I believe the others did not show up becuase the weather was so crummy.
They liked my drawing but I sure was not feeling like mine was all that great really. It is okay.So the class is over and I will finish the drawing. I will share it with you when I am done.
I did not work on it last night in the class, because it was hard to concentrate.
the “drawing teacher” shared… spilled, more “interesting” facts about her life, this time her love life…. it was dreadful. She is trés trés stupid. I left at 8:00.
It was pouring rain coming home.We changed the time of video-chat.
Wednesday evenings are crazy. upload or download feed (don’t remember which) is horrible, so our chats were always cut short with lots of interference and then finally lock up.
This was really not so horrible we were willing to try some different settings but now that my mom is tired and has such anxiety with her irregular heartbeat, well, it was not good. So we changed the chat to Thursday’s at 2:00 in the afternoon… or we can change it everyweek. to be honest, those evening chats were exhausting. My mom is just perking up at 8pm and hubby and I are shutting down after a long day. Yesterday’s chat was super wonderful. It started out with daddy telling us that mom has been pretty much depressed about this heart trouble and she does not like the changes and restrictions to her old schedule. she just began going to her exercise class everyother day (instead of everyday). She does her exercises sitting on a chair at the class (it is full of only creaky old people, very cute)
I have been hesitant to go over there and visit, but I think I will go next week Tuesday. Maybe bring the whole lunch with me….
ANyway, mom got really happy and perked up after the video-chat. Wow.I must end here.
I am going to bake some brownies now.
Today is definitely a brownies kind of day.I hope all of you have a terrifical week-end.
I am going to try to get a billion things done, and study my Français.

it’s just that I stay with problems longer.~Albert Einstein

Your mom looks good. I hope she feels better soon. Are the doctors going to do anything about her irregular heartbeat? I know it’s a very uncomfortable feeling and can wear you out. It is depressing to have to deal with this and to suddenly have to live under certain restrictions.
Give her a hug from me, whichever media you choose!
So glad to hear you are getting rain, maybe you’ll get enough to raise some restrictions, yes?
Where do you all go to video chat? I would be very interested, Dani and I both have webcams, and soon her boyfriend, Ben, will, too. I’d love to be able to talk to both of them at once while they are gone away. Maybe as far as England before too long, won’t that be cool?
I really can’t wait to see your drawing framed and hanging with pride in your kitchen or dining room or wherever else you’d like to hang it. I’d love to see you tackle drawing a pic of Prinnie and Caesar. That would be so cool!
I think you taking the whole lunch to them would be wonderful. Don’t forget to take a boquet of fall flowers, too!

Dear Rosemary,
We sure could use some of that rain to put out the fires!
Dad looks tired, like he’s falling asleep.

I’ve been wondering how your Mom is doing. Sometimes I am amazed at how much someone else’s presence can perk up older people. Although, come to think of it, I know I am perked up by my daughter, so I guess that;s just the way it is! I’m sure they would be thrilled to have you go for a visit! (Especially if you bring cookies!) : )
Hopefully your Mom will start to feel better soon, and then she will be less depressed.
I love your drawing. You have used the pencils very sensitively. I hope you will let us see the finished work, and I hope you will have it framed. It is worthy!
I think your picture is wonderful and I would like to see the others just to see if yours was the best.
Your mom does look good. My mom has had congestive heart trouble for like 15yrs but her dr. left town and the new dr. said something like her heart was irregular and now that is all I hear from mom-it’s better sometimes if they do like the other dr. and say,”sounds fine.”
That is so funny, I thought your mom looked good and your dad looked tired. La peinture c’est tres bien. Did I get the noun right? Maybe it is a little different. Did I get the sentence structure right? Been a long time since I studied French. One of my grandsons could be a native. He has the language under control, the pronunciation is good, he is an olive complected fellow. I could probably pass him off as a French kid. C’est bien.
We finally got some rain here. My flowers are happy again.
Hey now watch what you say about creaky old people! You too will creek some day.
I like your drawing.
The rain was much needed but I’m glad it came during the week. It is so beautiful out here today.
Your drawing is excellent. You are artistically talented!
Your mom looks good in the picture. Hopefully the doctors can get her heartbeat more regular and she can get closer to her original schedule.
Both my mom and Hubs’ mom have irregular heartbeat also. After months and months,my mom is feeling like herself again with a brand new med that must be ordered in advance.
Yay for rain. Yum for brownies.
I’m happy the rain stayed away for our fun day together. I sent off the pictures to our favorite deputy sherrif. I wonder if I’ll get an e-mail back? I’ll let you know if I do!
Your art teacher probably just needs someone who listens to her. Guess you pass on that!
I hope you accomplished your billion things.
YAY for BROWNIES! Longtimelurker has at the top of his blog “Pie makes everything better.” That could also be said of brownies, heh. I love your drawing. Your apple looks so juicy… and that gourd thing looks real (but strange, LOL! not your fault!) I hope you can take another art class but with a better (less autobiographical) teacher, LOL!
Take your Mum some of your brownies maybe. I just have a feeling you are the most delicious baker.
The drawing is pretty good. The apple is beautifully done.
Tropical storm Noel flooded the island out, which is ok, rather fun. I am not having fun, but depressed (again) so I’m not on Xanga these days.
